Since we launched Snakers a few months ago, September 2024, we have had great feedback from players. The positive experience and exposure through more and more retailers has resulted in quick growth for Snakers. So it might not come as a surprise but we are thrilled to announce the second print for NL version of Snakers! For us this quick success is unexpected but obviously we are exited and thankful for all that have ordered Snakers and are spreading the news. So a big thanks to our supporters ❤️
And while we are at it we are also adding some minor changes that are mainly related to sustainability!
First off, for the second print all elements, so the cards, box, inlay and rulebook, will be made from FSC MIX paper. (FSC MIX: The product is made with a mixture of materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, and/or FSC-controlled wood.)
Second, to further promote sustainability we added a statement to not throw the game away or leave it somewhere where its not being played, but to give Snakers a second, third or even longer life! In the rulebook you will be able to add your name as owner but see the option for future owners to add their name as well. This addition hopes to create more awareness to keep Snakers going for as long as the game remains playable.
And the third addition with sustainability in mind ties into the second. When after that long life the inevitable end of the product is there after many years of playing to throw it away responsibly and recycle! All items, from the box to the cards, inlay and rulebook, are recyclable paper. Therefore we added a Product End-Of-Life statement to highlight how to act when the product is no longer playable.
Below you can see the Dutch example of the second and third addition mentioned above. When other language versions will go to second print we will of course also add all these changes.
While all these changes are not revolutionary the changes further support our mission to add fun games to the market that also contribute to a durable future for us and our kids!
