New look, same passion! Meet the two pigs of BiG đ·đ·
Hello dear gamers and friends of Brothers in Games,
Weâre excited to announce that we are stepping into a fresh new chapter, a rebranding that better reflects who we are, what we stand for, and where weâre headed.
Why a rebrand?
Over the past years weâve grown. From launching our first war-themed trick-taking game to our fun and family-friendly snake-themed game. And Sum launching within weeks! With that growth comes a desire to sharpen our look, align our design with our identity, and get ready for whatâs next. We felt it was time to evolve: to take away any friction between what we do and how we present ourselves.
Weâre professionalizing further, not by losing our roots or fun spirit, but by giving our brand a design that matches our ambition, our values and our brothers-run company culture.
We want our (online) presence to reflect the energy, clarity and personality behind Brothers in Games.
And yes, two pigs!
You might ask: âWhy two pigs?â Well:
- Brothers in Games abbreviates to BiG.
- In Dutch, âbigâ translates into pig (and who doesnât love a pig?!) And we always talk about BiG together so at some point it just clicked.
- The two pigs stand for the two brothers behind this company: fathers, creators, gamers that working side by side.
- They symbolise our playful spirit, our down-to-earth approach and a bit of cheeky fun.
- They remind us never to take ourselves too seriously, while taking our games seriously.
So youâll see two pig characters integrated in our new design: on packaging, on socials, and gradually sneaking into the next prints of our games, the rulebooks or promo materials. They are our mascots, our little-big icons of what BiG stands for: fun, creativity and togetherness.
What stays the same?
- Our commitment to making fun, engaging and meaningful tabletop experiences.
- Our environmental promise. As you know, sustainability is part of our ethos (carbon-negative, thoughtful materials for production, end-of-life statement and encouraging the passing on of our games).
- Our openness to feedback: whether youâre a retailer, a reviewer, one of our future Kickstarter backers… (whuuttt?!) , or a family sitting down at the game table, your experience matters.
- The brother-run spirit: behind everything are two siblings, two dads, two gamers wanting to do good by this hobby and by our planet.
